Quilting is a long-time activity in the Black community. African Americans have created quilts as both pieces of art and functional household items. Now we invite the public to create a quilt patch to add to the Detroit Community Quilt 2024. Don't know how to quilt? No problem! Our experience quilting artists will assist you in creating a patch to add the quilt.
