Hosted by Satori Shakoor, The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers will create, curate and produce two original events featuring eight compelling storytellers who will tell true and personal stories on a pre-selected curatorial theme that will revolve around Black Art and History.

Monica Morgan: For over three decades, Monica Morgan has been living life through the lens of a camera as an international photojournalist traveling the world and documenting historical events and people. Now, she’s also speaking about it, motivating and sharing lessons learned. 

Rodney Pearson: Rodney Pearson, a lifelong Detroiter, owns and publishes The Monthly Standard Newspaper, now in its seventh year. Aiming to unite people through information, his publication avoids divisive topics like politics and religion. Pearson, an alumnus of Jackson State University and Wayne State University, is a sports enthusiast, history buff and dedicated to continuing his work at The Monthly Standard.

Viakim Royster-Weary: Viakim Royster-Weary, loving social worker of 25 years, is a creative radio personality "Via V" and an energetic Zumba instructor. As an entrepreneur, she leads Au Natural Locks LLC, empowering women to start their own businesses. A cancer survivor, Kim encourages women to overcome life's challenges. Family-focused, she cherishes her role as a matriarch. She values sisterhood, greeting every woman with "Sister-Sistah."

Emeline King: Emeline King, the first African American female designer for Ford, is renowned for her work on the 1994 Mustang. A Detroit native, she has over 25 years of auto industry experience and inspires youth through her company, King Enterprises LLC, and her autobiography highlighting her journey in a male-dominated field.
